Makhana Healthy is a Mumbai-based startup founded by Pooja Yadav and Indrajeet Yadav, a husband-and-wife team who came together with a simple idea — to make healthy snacking more enjoyable, accessible, and trustworthy for modern families.
Our journey began in July 2026, when we decided to turn our shared vision into something of our own. We wanted to build a brand around makhana (fox nuts) — a traditional Indian snack that has been enjoyed for generations, with the potential to become a part of modern, everyday snacking.
With her background in B.Com and accounting, Pooja brings a strong focus on organization, quality, and business operations. Indrajeet, with a background in B.Sc. IT, MCA, and the IT industry, brings technology, digital thinking, and a customer-first approach to the business.
Together, we started Makhana Healthy with a belief that a healthy snack should never mean compromising on taste, quality, or convenience.
Today, we are building Makhana Healthy from Mumbai with a long-term vision: to bring quality makhana and thoughtfully crafted flavours to households across India and eventually to customers around the world.
For us, this is more than just a business.
It is a family-built brand, a shared dream, and the beginning of something we hope to grow with our customers.
